If Interested, What Are the Next Steps?
- Obtain a petition form from the accounting club office and get 10 signatures from members and also a professor's signature and an officer's signature. Deadline 02/15/06.
- More exposure to recruiters.
- Start marketing to your classmates on your intention to run for election and to also vote on election day.
- Will be required to attend the next General Member's meeting and market yourself to the membership during election week.

President
- To fulfill the mission statement of the club.
- To Coordinate and Plan Accounting Club events.
- To conduct General Member’s Meeting, Officer’s Meeting, and AAB Meeting.
- To make key decisions that are within the club’s mission and in the best interest of the Membership.
V.P. Programs
- Keep in contact with the representatives of the firms.
- Main duty- Contacting firms about Club events. The liaison between the club and the firm.
- Work side by side with the President in coordinating and planning events.
- Requires great professional and communication skills.
- Develop various letters to invite firms to certain Accounting Club events.
V.P. of Publicity
- In charge of all forms of advertisement.
- Creation of flyers and posting of flyers.
- The main marketing person of the club.
- Will require a lot of tedious labors.
V.P. of Membership
- In charge of drawing memberships from the base of accounting students.
- The liaison between students and the club.
- Emailing the general membership and non-members upcoming club events or news.
VP Finance
- Fiduciary responsibility of club funds.
- Creation of budgets and financial statement for various events.
- Efficient with excel.
- Will be required to deposit and draw funds from the CFO account on a timely basis.
- Will require quite a bit of data entry.
VP Office Management
- In charge of proctor scheduling and task.
- Acquisition of officer supplies.
- Keeping the office in a workable environment.
VP Administration
- Creation of various written forms of communication to firms. (Invitation letters, thank-you letter, and confirmation letters for various events)
- Taking minutes for meeting.
- Updating current firm list.
