CPA Review Scholarship Awards

Wednesday, March 12

Each year the UIC Accounting Department and the Accounting Club sponsor an Annual Banquet. At the banquet, among other activities, awards are given to outstanding students in the Accounting programs. There are two categories of awards for which you may apply. If you meet the criteria, you may apply for the CBA scholarship awards at:
http://www.uic.edu/cba/ugrad/academic_services/Scholarships_Listing.html and

CPA Review Scholarship Awards by clicking on the link:
http://www.uic.edu/cba/accounting/CPA_award_form.html

CPA Review course Eligibility: Seniors with a GPA of 3.0/4.0 (Accounting and overall) and final year MSA student with a GPA in excess of 3.0 (Accounting and overall).

Awards require a personal write-up to demonstrate the candidate's involvement in the workforce, campus, and community. The candidate should provide examples of their ability to balance those commitments and the importance of their involvement in them. There are no restrictions as to age, race, creed, or sex for any of these Awards. Not all Awards may be offered every year.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund-Open Scholarships

09/21/2007
College scholarship programs(for the 2007 - 2008 academic year) are currently open. All applications are now online applications.  HSF has also waved the 12 credit requirement for our National College Scholarship Program, which means that those students who did not apply in their senior year have another chance to apply for scholarships that will be awarded in the spring of their freshman year (they will need to submit their HS transcripts for GPA confirmation). Another major change is that we will revise the timeline for our college programs for the 2008 - 2009 academic year. The applications for 08 - 09 will be open December 1, 2007 - March 15, 2008. If awarded, students will receive their awards in the fall of 2008. Yes, this means that  students may be applying back to back for scholarships! Please note, if students qualify for all scholarships they must submit for each one! Below is some brief information about scholarships that  are currently open or use the link to go directly to the website.  I have also attached a flyer for you to share.
